Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written to meet the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry form:
- your name
- your business name
- your email address
- your phone number
- the topic you pick and any message you write
With each enquiry we also record the page you sent it from and the time it was sent. Your IP address is used briefly to stop the form being flooded with automated messages.
The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark display. That preference stays in your own browser and is not sent to us.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Who receives it
Your enquiry goes to (SPB) Consulting Ltd. It is stored in a secure database and sent to us by email so we can reply.
To run the site we use service providers who handle this information on our behalf: our website host, a database provider that stores enquiries, and an email delivery service that forwards them to us. They may store information outside New Zealand.
Fonts
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. See Google’s privacy policy for how it handles this.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our conversation with you.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email alysha@spbconsulting.co.nz and we will respond as the Privacy Act requires.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
